Chalaph Veterans Home

Chalaph- a Hebrew word meaning 'restore and rebuild'- is a new, 12-unit apartment complex designed for single veterans, male and female.  It is a comfortable, supportive, permanent housing alternative for veterans who may currently be underhoused or homeless.

A home, not an institution.  Chalaph is a place worthy of the heroes who live here. Each of the 12 efficiency apartments has the option to be fully furnished and includes a well-appointed kitchen and bath.  A spacious living room and community room, equipped with big-screen TVs, recreation options and sitting areas, promote resident fellowship and interaction.  Located in the middle of the complex, just down the hall from resident apartments, these community spaces are designed to create a shared sense of community.

The professionally landscaped grounds include an outdoor patio, scenic retention pond and off-street parking spaces for residents. The 5.3 acre site is surrounded by well-kept homes, schools, churches and businesses, in a neighborhood that welcomes the influence of traditional military values.
